Dier\u00f3n instrucciones a la mitad de los 124 sujetos adultos del estudio, que inclu\u00edan estudiantes, analistas financieros y profesionales m\u00e9dicos, para limitar la revisi\u00f3n de su correo electr\u00f3nico a tres veces diarios durante una semana. En la otra mitad de sujetos se les pidi\u00f3 que revisaran su correo con la misma frecuencia con que se ven\u00edan realizando antes del estudio. Posteriormente, los investigadores invirtieron las instrucciones dadas a los dos grupos durante una semana posterior.
